4th Thursday of November 2025

It's Holiday Season 2025. Another year of families gathering together, community service, and random acts of kindness.

This week was Thanksgiving for most people. However I don't really call it thanksgiving. I call it Indigenous People Day as well as Acknowledge the Day of Mourning for Indigenous people. Although I am with my family, I acknowledge what this day really means for a people who were on this American Land First. I don't take that lightly. I stand in Solidarity with the Indigenous People as they stand in Solidarity with the Black Community!

For this 4th Thursday of November, I spent time with the Professor and Her Family. I was anxious about meeting her family for the first time as it meant a lot to the Professor. I enjoyed the fellowship and the dinner. I also went to my first wine tasting which was a joy.

This was awesome. It was one of many holidays in which I was away from my toxic ass family. Normally the holidays are tough for me, but this year was much better. I guess that's what's happens when you choose piece.
