New Year's Resolutions 2026

Here we are at the end of 2025! It has been a hell of a year. Political chaos, climate change, and the trials of life has rocked us every whichway. Yet here we are still standing and wondering what the next year will bring.

Before the near year enters from stage right, people begin making resolutions of what they want in the new year. Some resolutions are things that could've been done the prior year or the current year, but life said other wise. It is frustrating when certain resolutions aren't achieved, but the next year brings another chance to obtain those desired goals.

Maybe, you haven't started on your resolutions because of 2025's dramatic performance. Maybe you don't care to make a resolution at all. Maybe you just want to take 2026 as it comes. That is understandable. Sometimes, you must take it as it comes in order to survive or in order to have peace of mind. Everyone is different.

I stopped making resolutions and just made goals to have done by deadlines in the previous year. I often do so when I've been able to set up the well oiled machine to make those things happen. However, when making my style of resolutions. I try my damnedest to prepare for worst case scenario and sometimes it's hard. We can't always predict what will happen and that's just a fact of life.

Hopefully 2026 proves to be a less chaotic year and a year of the upheaval of oppressors in the land. If I had to make a new year's resolution, it would be to continue to stand on my humanist principles and making the world a better place for all mankind.
