What's up my Yayas. It's been quite sometime since I've created an entry here. As I write this I'm sipping on champagne and smoking some good herbal remedy! I need this time to just relax and be! I need this time to just exhale: mind, body, and soul.
Work has been very demanding lately and it's starting to take its toll on me. I've had to constantly put out fires with no resolution in sight! Thankfully, I've had a few rams in the bush. This is what happens when you assume a leadership position. I've been doing all I can not to burn out!!
Lately I've not been in the mood to work on singing, so I decided to take a few weeks to regroup and focus on resting! That is the first step! I've implemented an earlier bed time so that I can be refreshed in the mornings and so I can remain healthy. Sometimes, it isn't always possible to get a good night's sleep. Blame it on goddamn capitalism.
I'm trying my hardest not to burn out at this point. I recognize there are other changes to be made. However, reworking your resume repeatedly isn't always the miracle needed! However I am standing strong and I will be back to regular posting soon.

Happy Juneteenth 2026!!!
Today we commemorate June 19, 1865 ; the day freedom finally came for more than 250,000 enslaved the Black people in Galveston Bay, Texas. Although the Emancipation Proclamation was made effective on January 1, 1863, it could not be implemented in places under Confederate control.
161 years ago today Union soldiers, went through throughout the Confederate South enforcing the end of slavery. This news liberated the souls that had been oppressed by the chains of slavery.
As we commemorate Juneteenth, we continue to fight against a fascist government hellbent on violating Black civil rights and even attempting to revoke our voting rights. This June we stand united and fortified as we strive to maintain our freedom and liberty.
