Herbs & Spices: 4/20/26 Sunflower Sunshine

Happy 420! I hope your day has been lifted and gifted. Since it's 420 I wanted to review my current flower of choice. What better way to celebrate 420 here?

This past Friday after work I decided to pick a goodie that would lift my spirits and open my third eye. I'm a sativa girl so I definitely craved a good flower that would help the creative juices flow. I only use indica and hybrids during SAD.

Well the sativa of choice was "Sunflower Sunshine." I couldn't wait to get home and try this new found strain. Since Friday, I have indulged in this special flower.

Sunflower Sunshine aka "Sunshine Kush" is a sativa dominant hybrid , 70% sativa, 30% indica. It is made by crossing OG Kush and Sunshine. This special flower has a citrusy flavor. The bud is a nice olive green with touches of amber. I must say it is one hell of a flower!!!

I immediately took a liking to this strain. It is perfect for a good wake and bake session. In the mornings it relieves my anxiety and helps me focus during meditation time and prepare for the day. In the evening time, Sunflower Sunshine helps me relax so I can tend to my music or other content like this entry. Sleep comes so peacefully.

Sunflower Sunshine gives a heady yet cerebral high. The lift is subtle yet formidable. I highly recommend this strain. What is your favorite sativa dominant hybrid? Indica, Sativa, or Hybrid? What's your top favorite strain?
